Unmidfully rushing over towards where she was, Ronin had all but lost all thought or care in having her see him. Or perhaps having himself be know to one of her friends....despite the fact he did have that kind of reputation.Not care about being found out.....all he could think about was her and her safety.

"Hang out"

She soon said after a short pause while she thought things thru, heart slowing down despite the fact. Could feel the electricity that filled the air.....the cold chills and note her shake head While composing herself spoke.


In which time he spoke as pause then walk towards her....

"Faith? What...what are...aren't you suppose be in school?"

In which time she came speak.

"Dad, what are you doing out here on the Jedi grounds?"

As he then paused to try think of a reply briefly .


"...ummm, checking something out..and you?"

"Field trip, community service project for credit, its a requirement in school"

She replied which as he looked at her , seeing smile on her face....there was no deny it. That both were lyiing thru their teeth right now and that despite this it seem matter not to him. As his sense silently went on high alert....'he's here no doubt...' his mind began to say when.

"Oh really ? well alright....best that you and your friends head home now...it's well....getting late...and you can maybe tell me all about this report at home."

He said turn his head towards the clearing behind them when she replied.

"What would you be checking on on Jedi grounds, has Tia found something that."

She then paused as if to torment and taunt him sightly....even thought she seem to not realize how dead serious he was in wanting her to go home right that instant. Not so much because he was mad that she skip school but cause of the thing he sense closing in on them right that very second.In which time despite all this he dare not speak of it to her at that momen....notcing those with her that day.

"I don't know...alright....that why i'm here....beside shouldn't you all be heding some place else....like right now?"

In which time perhaps although she appeared to want reply further....she appeared to opt not to. And instead came speak...

She then turn look at her friends.

"later..."

At such time they all waved at each other and proceeded to depart....with little time spare. Knowing it was close, he then so wanted to take an offensive stance right then and there to protect Faith, When unexpectantly one of her friends seem spooked by either the events that transpired or in realizing who he was. Trip and proceeded to fall the side....and into the awaiting arms of the Anzat who by then drain him dry of his life giving substance. Giving in to hunger it cared not who saw him and once done turn his attention to the other two. Poised to attack , it soon froze in his tracks....its head then falling to the ground. Then rolling by Faith feet. Dead in one fell swoop of his saber...there was no denying that the gig was up. And that if nothing else , the saber at hand....he was found out.

By that time having done the deed off killing the Anzat and made sure Faith was unharmed thru it all. Despite the surreal fact that of which, had one her friends lay dead on the side. Drain dry of the very life essnce within by the fiend who was then poised to do harm Faith in her mind. Was simply too much for him handle or just happen,that he in adverntently came forward. Attack then putting the anzat down permanently with one fell swoop his saber upon its neck.

Before he then turn around once sure it was dead towards Faith's side, who now cause of the shock and speed of it all. Was now slumped on the ground speechless for a moment then turn face him. Looking as if still shock and in awe with what had just transpired...both enraged him that it had come so close in harming her. At the same time displeased with having to find first hand how it would appear the rumors were true.....that she was indeed misbehaving behind his back. Yet no sooner had he turn pick her up in his arms and ready to take her far away from all this carnage. That in a whispher he hears her speak...

"This isn't going to be good for either of us"

In which time he then raise a hand to stroke her back if seem to comfort her as he would when she was a child.

"I know.....which is why i told you....but anyway....just as long your safe....i don't give a dam as to what they say,think or do anymore...and i am sorry about what happened to your friend over there."

Then turn back to notice the two bodies laying dead on the ground when the thought cross his mind.

".....we better get home before they come back...."

It was then that as Faith slowly stood up that she began speak.

"No, not yet....No......"

By which time after a short pause as she seemingly realized the possible consequence that would soon reverberate thru. Here once peacefull carefree life she lived till today.

"By tomorrow, I won't have friend left, they'll all be afraid, course there will be the curious, or the ones that want nothing more than the association, but they won't be friends....."

She said though much to Ronin dismay that she appear unwilling to budge from that place . Even though he urged her to depart that place with him in haste.That it seem apparent she lied to ....her mother...him and clearly disregarded all that he had given up ...for her to keep safe.And yet thru it all he could not once make himself be angry with her nor could he even raise a hand against her as would anyone else.That at moment as her gaze turn towards the Jedi Dorms....then to the outline of hospital. That he came be reminded of anther family that one once took shelter here...that of his old friend . Who for the life he in him, heard had not once since then came or show himself to them. Thought he didn't doubt that he cared for them so....it was not something he himself was prepared to do.

And thought it had been a gamble ....he had made it a point to not only once but quite a few times. Sneak back in the planet and see them for however brief or infrequent time he could afford. Despite the dangers and how he hated to have sneak around like some common scoundrel. He did so anyway, given how much he'd cared for them. Wishing if for nothing else that to let them know how much they mean to him and that despite all the bad things he had done or was capable of...to be demonized as a beast...monster and far worst things.He was willing to give up anything and everything if only to see them safe.

As soon enough as their eyes met briefly while as her mind seem be in deep contemplation she then spoke.

"I'm not going back to the house"

She said with a seem firm yet confused conviction before her gaze then turn towards him as she continued.

"I'm not even sure what to say right now...I don't...want, or need, or....anything...at the moment"

By which time he then moved forward and place a hand on her shoulder spoke.

"No, i not going to loose you too and you will..."

His gaze then turn away briefly before continue speak as he gazed back at her.

" I know it pain you to loose what you have today...a friend...the comfort of a life which i know that not even in my wildest dream i could provide you....a normal life...thought simple and uneventful...far removed or different from that which i or your mother had.....and soon eventually you too have to grow up and learn...life is not all fun and games....friends are not always who or what we think them be....betrayal from others is never far off....not for me ...your mother...or you ...."

He then thru the force came to pick up the body of Faith friend then lay it by his feet.

"...and as much i rather not....all you have to do is say so and i could bring back your friend from the brink if only by your word. For in me lies a legacy and means to do so...but you have speak up now....and assist me in this endevor..but know once we proceed there is no turning back...for even though we maybe able bring back his life...there is no gurantee we can bring back his sanity nor his mind to what it was before."

As Faith looked at him with a look that somehow perplexed him.

"Now you ask me? and Now you say hey there might be consequences"

Faith laughed, and in that moment all but broke his heart....in ways even he could not have imagine as she then continued on speak.

"Are you joking, my whole life has been consequences due to actions by you!"

Her pent up emotion seem to swell with every words that her mind raced to seek out say.

"Dad, did Mom tell you why we left Rafa IV? I bet she didn't, did she? Why Rafe and Hope had to leave? Hell now we'll probably have to leave here, where will we go!!? So no Dad I won't make that choice, do what you want and then I'll deal with the consequences"

As Faith then stood defiant and filled with anger that stab deep into his heart that Ronin then came speak.

"...and do you think for one second i ever wanted any of this to be this way. That every second of my life i tried so hard to make things right and do everything i can to be anyone other than that which i am now. That all this time i could have just left you both ...walked away...so that i could have spared you from all this....if i only knew this is how its going to be? Maybe then i guess you and your mother could have had a better life..... without me to burden your life..."

In which time his mind lost for words and filled with dark emotion Ronin then turn away. And walking over to the corpse of her friend...then in a silent whispher began to utter some all but forgotten archane laungaue in his mind eye. To which from the depth of the earth that shook came forth a dark malevolent beast....standing about a foot or more over Ronin with its gleaming fiery read eyes. The two them seem to speak with very little said openly between them. In which time with a slight nod the beast then came over to the Anzat earthly remains and with its paw held high for a moment then dug deep into his chest. Leaving but a gape wounds it then pulled its paw out and seem extracted the shimmering ball of light that it then. No sooner had held dragged then released into Faith's friend's chest ....who slowly but surly regain the color in his cheeks. Then inhale deeply he began to cough harshly, as it seem as he let life to slowly filter back into his form.

After which suddenly scrambling to get back his feet, eyes darting madly about as if awakening from a very dark nightmare. Till sure enough he falls back slightly and barely regain his footing. Turning his head he then came to come face to face with the headless corpse of the thing that attacked him. At which time with upon seeing this he then blacked out and got about a few feet off to the anzat.

As soon after with barely a sound the beast then lifted up on all but two of his leg. It then let out a mighty roar and fell ontop of Ronin,then in a fiery mist that followed. Dissapeared from sight and all that was left ....a charred earth ....

And still as she spoke her words came to dig ever so deeper into his subconcious that it all but wanted to implode.Unable to handle it all yet he stayed and tried so hard to listen ....his heart bleed in pain to hear her words.

"Dad do you realize how hard all of this is?" Faith shook her head, and started to silently cry. "I'm so out of touch with everyone around me, when they find out they look at me funny, some of them are afraid, their ignorance, their stupidity, they take it out on us. They firebombed the porch on Rafa IV, they wrote baby killer on the outside walls of the house, they wouldn't talk to Mom anymore, and they blamed Rafe for allowing us in. So we left...and Mom she always takes it in stride, she says things like, it will be fine so long as we are all together we are fine. But we are rarely all together."

That something inside him slowly crumbled and as it would appear before he could react to her final words.

"Even now I"m sitting wondering how you did what you just did, and thinking that is great, and then in the same sentence I don't want to know, it will set me apart further."

The beast came step in and move him away from it all without his consent....that in blink of an eye.Ronin soon found himself standing in the grounds outside the tower...hands shake with a mix of deep seated anger and guilt, That something inside of him snapped....made him raise hia hand and drive it thru one the nearby old wall. Causing it to crumble, shattering it sent shards of rock flying with some embedding then cutting deep into his closed fist.

Making it bleed, feeling the pain slowly course thru...did little to dull his pain nor not for one second care. That his blood drip on the earth below his feet...pain rush in and bone inside broken. No it had not mattered nor registered in his head....for inside all he felt was anger in that she dare defied him at the same time fear. In what he could have done to her...if he had not left and just given into his emotion...

At the same time...

"Mom will know, she always knows when something is up. I see it in her face, and in her manner, that body language thing she does so well I think I inherited it too...."

No sooner had the beast sense its hold on him waying that it acted....using its will and power to take ronin out of there for now.

"Dad.....Was I so horrible that you didn't want to be with us?"

Faith searched for words, struggling for words as it then reappearing but a stone throw from the scorched earth. Where Ronin once stood taking it upon itself in taking his form, the beast appered listeend and soon speak

" On the contrary my dear...you were too much of a presence in him that we loathed ever second of it. Oh how much we reveled in the fact that before you came be...we had so much fun. The death...carnage....blood spilled and their screams...of pain as we drove in the blade in their hearts.....pleading as we tore thru them like....how i missed them so...like a sweet tasting wine for the ages. Oh such times we had....that we would have no sooner coveted this one over the others in the past.

That every second of every day....despite everything...he wanted you over us....pathetic....yet much to our delight...our presence had dismayed him not to....trapped here we have been....despite the fact despite all our best efforts. he chose you over us....that he rather choose death over all the power or undying life we could offer. But we shall be patience....knowing he can't last forever....and soon our time will come........we shall be free..."

And soon with a sly yet devious smirk the beast then gave a slight nod then taking a hold of the cloak . It then turned and burst into a flame ....smoke.....dissapear as well.

With his whole body racked with pain, with bruises,cuts and the internal injuries to contend with. Ronin was in that moment no shape or form to resist but resist he did...thought as he lay there on his back. Taking the moment to collect his thoughts...thin and force to take in as much air he could to fill his lungs. Despite the fact with every breath the shards of his broken rib began to move. Sending waves of pain growing ever so stronger with every breath....made it all so harder to take the next breath.

' So? what shall it be?... suffer this pathetic excuse of a life that you so blindly hold on despite the fact..they all loath and hate your guts...... or follow us....and together we shall take away the pain....know how it is to truly live..'. no regrets...not answerable to anyone else but you alone?...'

In which time deep in thought he then work try get back on his feet, though still wrack with pain Ronin roll over to his side. Propping himself up with his right arm, which no sooner had he done so felt something grip the back of his neck. Holding on tight it then came lift him clear off the floor for a brief moment before he was thrown violently to the opposite wall again. Crashing hard, it had all but almost made him loose consciousness and somehow add the searing darkness within. As with every breath his anger and rage began to swell....that he soon after propping his back against the wall spoke.

" No...leave me alone.... dam you hell....."

Voice almost a whisper, as a small trickle of blood began to run by the edge of his mouth. Eyes defiant still thought with not with that much strength or conviction behind them. Till later on something brush against his consciousness....so faint though familiar..hearing his name being called. He tried to speak and warn her....make her leave if only spare her the sight of his momentary weakness. But then again the beast would not allow it as then turn around. Latching its hand...or paw over his neck tight like a vise before it lifted him up again.

'No...let her come so once and for all you will choose.....your life or hers....'
